This makes for a great DIY home tech project! You can order the new Raspberry 4 starting @ $35.
At its most basic, a Raspberry Pi is a 3.5" x 2.3" circuit board. No case included and no case necessary. Install the operating system on an SD card and then plug the SD card, a mouse, keyboard, monitor or TV, and power in and you are off and running. If you already have most or all of the peripherals, you could easily do this for under $50.
From there, there are truly unlimited possibilities. Use, as is, as a basic computer or use as a:
controller for cameras, temperature sensors, lights, 3D printers and more
media server
code learning/implementing machine
home security hub
and, a million other possibilities!

With use of smart home devices and systems exploding right now, what's great about the Wyze devices is:
The price tag (the camera pictured is $19.99 online, and at Target or Home Depot).
The premium functionality without monthly subscriptions. For example, get a $10 SD card for the camera and you're set. No cloud service needed.
The DIY/tech oriented nature of the devices. Use them as is, out of the box, or find tons of cool and useful hacks, some provided by Wyze (yes, they support hacking their devices), and some by users.
Wyze has a lot more than cameras. Check em' out! They are a Seattle based, small company (30ish employees).
